I found this article very interesting. There is clearly a connection between Gatsby and Death of a Salesman, as both Gatsby and Willy strive for the American Dream. I think this article demonstrates that people think of America as the place to be succesful, just as Willy did. However, this article does not address that Gatsby never really attains the American Dream and is still on the outskirts of the truly wealthy. Instead, this article shows kids who compare Gatsby to Jay-Z, a mentor in their eyes. In this light, I think this article skimmed over a very important aspect of Gatsby, that he's never actually succesful.
